I doing the London which will be my first tri, question is how many gels should I take with me???
I have never used them before...
A friend of mine took some when we done a half marathon and spent most his time in the nearest bush!!!!!

i would take 2. one for before you start and one for on the bike. you must try them in training to see which you like and which agree with you digestion. personally I like SIS because they are isotonic and dont require you to drink loads of water with them. that allows me to use an electrolyte drink on the bike which I prefer. lots of others use power gel but I find them too thick. I like the power bar ride sweet things though they are great if you dont like gels.
